Taycan 4 Cross Turismo

The Taycan Cross Turismo is the newest model of the Taycan to be made available in Canada. Compared to its smaller and speedier younger brother, the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo has a wagon body style providing more storage with a front trunk space, larger rear trunk, and a more spacious interior. One of the unique features of the Taycan models is the option to have a panoramic fixed glass roof. You can choose between two roof styles: the contoured variant made of lightweight aluminum or the panoramic fixed glass roof.

With more space, 20mm more ground clearance, and the option to add an additional 10mm of ground clearance with the off-road design package, the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo is ready for any lifestyle and adventure.

Taycan 4S

With the original sports sedan body style, the Taycan 4S is what EV dreams are made of. The striking exterior appearance, innovative technology, and elegant interior make the Taycan 4S the perfect luxury electric sports car. Coming in slightly smaller and sportier than the wagon-style Cross Turismo, the Taycan 4S is one of the sexiest EVs on the market today.

Even though the Taycan 4S is the slowest out of the sedan-style trims, it still boasts an 0-100km acceleration in four seconds. The four-door Taycan 4S is comparable to the Tesla Model S in base-level price, body style, and speed. However, the Tesla Model S is faster with a three-second acceleration and is cheaper at $114,990 (CAD). But the Taycan 4S exudes a more exotic and unique appearance.

Porsche recently announced its base offering for the Taycan EV. The rear-wheel-drive base Taycan was initially exclusive to China. The base-level Taycan is now available in the US and several other countries. However, it is yet to be made available in Canada.

The launch of the Taycan base model is the first time we’ve seen Porshe’s attempt at the sub 100K EV market, an increasingly competitive segment. This move positions the diet Taycan directly adjacent to the Tesla Model S in pricing, performance, and target market. Your move, Elon.
